Owner Media Group (OMG) is a Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) advertising network. We connect advertisers with property owners and homeowners who host tablets that display ads. Members earn passive income every time a paid ad appears on their screen.
You place an Android tablet in your home, rental property, or business. Our app runs automatically and displays motion-activated, muted 15-second ads when someone is nearby. You earn 50% of every paid ad impression. Payouts are issued monthly once you reach the $50 minimum threshold.
Yes — joining Owner Media Group is completely free. There are no setup fees, no monthly fees, and no equipment to purchase. You use a tablet you already own.
OMG is open to two types of members:
STR / Short-Term Rental owners — Airbnb hosts and vacation rental owners who want to earn passive income from guest traffic.
Homeowners and renters — Anyone with a tablet at home who wants to put their screen to work.

Getting Started
Visit ownermediagroup.com/str (for STR owners) or ownermediagroup.com/homeowner (for homeowners and renters) and complete the sign-up form. Once submitted, our team will provide you with a unique member ID along with onboarding account instructions.
After signing up you will receive:
A unique member ID and account activation link via email
A free tablet holder mailed to the address you confirm during account activation
Onboarding instructions for setting up your tablet
Yes. When you sign up, we automatically add a $10 bonus to your account. This bonus is applied to your first payout once you reach the $50 minimum in paid advertising credits. No code needed — it's added automatically.
Sign-up takes just a few minutes. After submitting your form, your account is typically set up quickly. You'll receive your member ID and activation link by email shortly after, and your tablet holder will be mailed within a few days of activating your account.
Tablet & Setup
Android tablets are preferred and provide full functionality with our app. Kindle Fire tablets (which run Android) are also fully compatible. iPads are supported but with limited features. For a full compatibility breakdown and recommendations, visit our tablet options page.
No — you can use a tablet you already own. If you need one, we recommend Android tablets under $50. The Amazon Fire 7 ($29–$39) and Fire HD 8 ($39–$49) are our top picks. See our tablet options page for more recommendations.
We recommend placing your tablet in your kitchen or common area where people naturally spend time. Your free tablet holder makes it easy to place it cleanly on a counter. For STR members, a device identification sticker is included so guests know the device is part of the OMG network and wasn't left behind by a previous visitor.
No. The screen is motion-activated and only turns on when someone is nearby. When no motion is detected, the screen stays dark. All ads are always muted — there is no audio.
In addition to ads, the screen also displays useful information when it wakes up:

Earnings & Payouts
Earnings depend on the traffic in your space and the volume of paid ad impressions. Estimated monthly earnings:
1 household screen: $120–$250/mo
1 rental property: $120–$250/mo
2–3 rental properties: $240–$750/mo
4–6 rental properties: $480–$1,500/mo
7+ / multi-unit: $840–$5,000+/mo
Actual earnings vary based on traffic and paid ad volume.
Every time a paid 15-second ad displays on your tablet, you earn 50% of the ad impression revenue. Public service announcements (PSAs) are not paid and do not generate earnings — only paid advertisements count toward your balance.
Payouts are issued monthly on a Net-30 basis once your paid advertising credit balance reaches $50. You can receive payment via bank deposit, PayPal, debit card, credit card, or check. You choose your preferred method in your member dashboard.
The minimum payout threshold is $50 in paid advertising credits. Once your balance reaches $50, your payout is processed during the next monthly cycle.
Yes. A completed W-9 is required before your first payout can be issued. You can submit your W-9 through your member dashboard at omgmembers.com. If you earn $600 or more in a calendar year, you will receive a 1099-NEC from us for tax purposes.
Referrals & Bonuses
When you refer someone to OMG using your unique referral link and they reach the $50 payout threshold, you automatically receive a $10 referral bonus added to your account. There is no limit on referrals — the more you refer, the more you earn.
Your unique referral link is available in your member dashboard at omgmembers.com after your account is activated.
Your $10 referral bonus is added to your account once the person you referred reaches the $50 minimum payout threshold. It is then included in your next monthly payout.
Privacy & Security
Ads are standard 15-second digital advertisements — similar to what you'd see on a digital billboard. All ads are always muted. No audio plays at any time. PSAs (public service announcements) may also appear, but these are not paid and do not generate earnings.

No. The OMG app does not record audio or video. The motion sensor is used only to detect when someone is nearby so the screen can activate. No personal data from your home or guests is collected through the tablet.
Yes. Your personal information is kept secure and used only for account management and tax reporting purposes. We do not sell your personal data.
STR / Airbnb Owners
Yes. You can register multiple properties and tablets under your account. Each additional screen increases your potential earnings. Contact us at info@ownermediagroup.com if you have questions about adding multiple properties.
Yes. Your onboarding kit includes a device identification sticker that you place on the tablet or holder. This lets guests know the device is part of the OMG network and not something left behind by a previous visitor.
Most hosts find that the tablet adds value for guests by displaying Wi-Fi credentials and local weather. The screen is unobtrusive — it only activates when someone is nearby and is always muted.
Account & Cancellation
The minimum agreement period is 6 months. After that, the agreement continues on a month-to-month basis.
After the initial 6-month period, you can cancel with 30 days written notice. To cancel, contact us at info@ownermediagroup.com.
Any earned balance that has reached the $50 minimum threshold will be paid out in the next monthly cycle. Balances below the threshold at time of cancellation are forfeited per the Terms of Use.
